One of True Vine's primary ministries is gathering believers and seekers into small group Bible studies as well as Disciple-making micro-groups of 3 or 4.
These studies are relational, Biblical, gender-specific, curriculum-based, with shared leadership and friendly guidance. We believe Christ's command in Matthew 28:19-20 is to "make disciples" first -- evangelism and church planting spring from the process of disciple-making.
Women's Discipleship groups meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (Linda Johnson, leader). Men meet Wednesdays at Freddie's Drive-In in relational small groups using "Discipleship Essentials" curriculum written by evangelical author Greg Ogden. If you are interested in forming or joining a men's micro-group, contact Pastor Jim at 805-807-8336. Want to inquire about a Women's Group?
On Sunday morning, True Vine offers an Education Hour for all ages, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. This structure is held in a large-class format, using Biblical curricula. Students of all levels are welcoming in this user-friendly class, held around coffee tables.
True Vine Church works with Ivory North and local Christian leaders to promote uplifting outdoor music in the summertime on Monday nights, twice a month.
Summer concerts begin at 7 PM and run 90 minutes long. The refurbished barn and outdoor pavilion make a great setting. Great seating is available to the first 200 guests. You can even bring your own picnic basket.
Clean restrooms are available near the pavilion. Children are welcome.
You can find IVORY NORTH near the Mora golf course at 2065 Olympic St., four miles east of Mora, just south of 23.
Free parking is plentiful. It’s an easy walk to the pavilion. Several handicap spaces can be reserved within a few steps of the pavilion.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Call or text Pastor Jim or Nate Monseth to make reservations at 805-807-8336
